Sarjaro were contracted by North Queensland Bulk Ports (NQBP) to design, construct, mobilise, setup and commission a Washdown Water Treatment System (WWTS) for the Area 4 Quarantine Facility.
The WWTS complies with the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) cleaning requirements and is designed to remove contaminants down to < 100 microns. The system also has the capacity to remove metals, hydrocarbons and PFAS from wash waters.
Following successful commissioning, Sarjaro provided an Operation & Maintenance manual, and training in how to run the system. The system is now owned by NQBP, and Sarjaro assist for technical and specialist support.
